We need an experienced Actionscript Developer to join our team at Oktobor, Auckland and this is a great opportunity to help build and influence the exciting digital future of Oktobor. We are after a team player who thrives on creative technical challenges and loves working with rich media. You'll be building a diverse range of applications including, data visualization, game development, streaming HD video, CMS systems and more. Research and development of best practices and knowledge sharing will be key parts of your role.

Oktobor is a visual effects company based in Auckland. Oktobor has a global reputation for providing high-end effects for television commercials, feature films, digital and entertainment productions. We are continuing to enhance our 'digital' offering by creating a unique environment where we apply creative convergence to the traditionally separated disciplines of interactive, visual effects, motion design and 3D. Our goal in digital is to create beautifully
crafted user experiences for any screen, be it cinema, mobile, touchscreen, television or personal computer.

You must be flexible and creative in your approach to technology and development. We're not looking for a dogmatic developer who only likes to create projects one way. You will require 2+ years of Actionscript development experience. Having a web development background is a bonus using CSS, PHP, MYSQL.

You're driven by creating the smoothest user experience possible with a focus on high end craft, efficient code and usability. You enjoy getting projects pixel perfect.
