Dr D Studios on behalf of Omnilab Media and Kennedy Miller Mitchell is looking for a Help Desk Coordinator for its Orwell St, Kings Cross offices.
Our Help Desk Coordinators report to the Service Delivery Manager and perform L1 helpdesk support and assist with operational and clerical tasks within the department.
Primary Functions include:
Providing customer-service oriented support presence to the IT&E organisation Effectively gathering details, diagnosing and performing triage on incoming support calls and emails Providing L1 support via telephone, remote technologies, and in person Escalating support to L2+ when required Assisting with asset management and other clerical "housekeeping" tasks Taking pro-active support measures to reduce the occurrence of support issues Maintaining knowledge of products and product updates Building constructive working relationships with vendors, customers and other Omnilab Media business units
To be successful in the role you will also need to demonstrate:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills together with a professional phone manner Strong organisational skills Solid problem solving abilities Good understanding of desktop computing and LAN/WAN environments
The ideal applicant will have 1 year experience in an IT support position and/or relevant tertiary IT education.
