Network Administrator


Dubsat on behalf of Omnilab Media is looking for a Network Administrator for its Melbourne Offices.

The primary focus of this role is to manage the day-to-day operations of Dubsats network infrastructure, provide ongoing network maintenance including problem resolution and enhancements, as well as design and implement network modification projects as requested.

Reporting to the Manager, Technology & Development, the Network Administrator must have:
Demonstrable ability in advanced network configuration skills specifically based on Cisco network devices A superior working knowledge of TCP/IP internetworking, routing and routing protocols, the OSI model and protocol layers, fragmentation, MTU, addressing and subnets, VLANs, VPNs Proficiency in Windows systems administration, including Windows 200/2003 server, Active Directory, etc Broad experience in building generic and name-brand hardware platforms using the Windows operating system Expert low-level build and administrative experience using Fedora Core 7 Ability to prepare submissions, business cases & technical reports Proficiency in fault finding and problem diagnosis across a range of connected platforms and systems
And commercial experience in:
managing a large (300 devices) geographically disparate Cisco-based network designing networking solutions being responsible for DNS, DHCP, WWW, and FTP servers/services designing and implementing a large multi-site network project management and change management procedures
In addition, you will be solutions focussed, highly motivated and show initiative. You will be analytically and technically minded, thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, be an excellent communicator and above all, possess a desire to learn and grow with the role. Current industry standard network qualifications, specifically CCNA or better would be highly regarded.
