LARRY THE LAWNMOWER premieres
Tuesday December 9 at 11am on Channel 7

Popular actor and proud father of seven Jay Lagaaia (Water Rats, Play School) narrates a brand new Australian-made Ambience Entertainment kids program that is sure to mow you away.

Larry the Lawnmower is an exciting new live action pre-school series starring five colourful puppet characters who bring everyday garden tools to life. Larry and his team are always on the go, having a great time as they work together to ensure their home is kept neat, tidy and safe.

The leader of this loveable team, Larry the Lawnmower, is bright red, fast, friendly and great at solving problems. His friends include Wheelie, the reliable big blue wheelbarrow, Flash, the hard working yellow spade, Rosie, the fussy and cautious rake, and Tangles, the nervous green garden hose who often springs a leak when he spins into action.

Larry and his friends live in Greenwood Gardens, a wonderful place where our characters work, play and often get up to mischief in a series of fun adventures.

Larry and his crew can't wait to welcome their new friends, kids from all around Australia, into their garden where they will join forces to make wonderful discoveries about life, the environment, team work and friendship.

Larry the Lawnmower is an Ambience Production for the Seven Network, produced by Michael Boughen (Deal or no Deal, Go Go Stop).

DYING BREED TO BE RELEASED THEATRICALLY IN THE US
Afterdark Films acquires rights for Horrorfest III

Ambience Entertainment today announced that CEO Courtney Solomon from After Dark Films has acquired the rights to showcase Dying Breed as part of its After Dark Horrorfest series in the US.

After Dark is perhaps best known for its creation and execution of After Dark Horrorfest 8 Films to Die For. Debuting in 2006, After Dark Horrorfest is a one week national film festival that runs from January 9th 15th 2009, and celebrates all areas of the horror genre. The Horrorfest lineup is nearly complete with the six previously announced titles being The Broken, Autopsy, The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelation, From Within, Perkins 14, and Slaughter.

In Dying Breed, two couples penetrate the Tasmanian wilderness in order to prove that an ancient species known as the Tasmanian Tiger still exists. What they find is a species much more horrifying than they ever imagined. Jody Dwyer directed the film based on a script he penned with Michael Boughen and Rod Morris. Nathan Phillips (Snakes on a Plane, Wolf Creek) and Leigh Whannell (Saw I and III) star.

Michael Boughen produced the film through Ambience Entertainment alongside Rod Morris. Christopher Mapp, Matthew Street and David Whealy, of Omnilab whose previous credits include The Bank Job and the current Oliver Stone release, W, executive produced the film. Omnilab financed the film along with Screen Australia. Darclight Films is handling the international sales and HOYTS Distribution handled the Australian release of the film. David Whealy negotiated the deal on behalf of Ambience Entertainment with Laura Ivey and Dana Lambert brokering for After Dark Films.

Horrorfest IIIs lineup is nearly complete and we are ecstatic to be including Dying Breed in our festival. Its a worthy addition sure to terrify our very discerning horror audience and live up to our tradition of bringing fans well made and interesting horror films that they cant see anywhere else, stated After Dark CEO Courtney Solomon.

With Dying Breed we wanted to push the boundaries, wanted to stand out from the crowd and deliver to the target horror audience, which is exactly what the Horrorfest does. Dying Breed and the Horrorfest are a perfect match and I am delighted that Dying Breed has a theatrical release in the US said producer/writer Michael Boughen
